Groundwater is an essential resource and an alternative source of water that is of great economic and livelihood value for people. Thailand has developed groundwater for more than 40 years. In the past, a large amount of groundwater was used. This causes imbalances in the groundwater layer and has various environmental impacts.
2003 A Groundwater Development Fund was established in the Department of Groundwater Resources. abbreviated as “CPC” with the purpose of funding for research studies.
